Resorts of the Canadian Rockies
Since 2003, Husky has partnered with the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies (RCR) and Alpine Canada Alpin (ACA) to provide all Grade 2 students in Western Canada the opportunity to ski or snowboard free all season long. The Husky Snow Stars Grade 2 FunPass™ program provides Grade 2 students (or born in 2001) with an RCR Super Pass. This Super Pass is a free 2008/09 season pass to four of the country's best ski resorts: Lake Louise Mountain Resort, Fernie Alpine Resort, Nakiska and Kimberley Alpine Resort.
Why Grade 2? An early introduction to skiing or snowboarding can develop into a life-long enjoyment of the sport at both the recreational and competitive levels. The Husky Snow Stars Grade 2 FunPass program is the perfect introduction to the exciting sport of skiing and snowboarding. It's a great way for the entire family to get involved, and perhaps even develop the next Olympic Ski Team members.
In 2004, the Husky Snow Stars Grade 2 FunPass program was proudly recognized by Alberta's Promise for the program's commitment to developing a better quality of life for children and the community.
