Husky is always open to receiving applications from qualified individuals who want to be one of our retailers.
Our network extends from Vancouver Island to Bainsville, Ontario and consists of approximately 500 branded facilities. Our range of Husky and Mohawk locations includes full- and self-service facilities, convenience stores, service bays, car washes, Travel Centres and restaurants.

Husky and Mohawk retailers play a major role in our retail success, which is why we've created unique models for retailers to run their businesses effectively and profitably. There are two models for doing business with Husky: corporate or independent.
Corporate retailers
- Lease a facility from Husky.
- Sell fuel on commission.
- Pay a percentage rent on the merchandise they sell.
- Agree to operate according to Husky standards.
The financial model offered to corporate retailers in Husky's marketing outlet lease delivers the potential for higher-than-industry-average returns.
- Generally own their own facility.
- Own their own fuel.
- Agree to operate according to Husky standards.
- Do not pay rent or a sales percentage.

Who is a Husky Retailer?

Our preferred candidates:
- have a passion for retail and love working with people,
- understand what it means to provide great customer service,
- have experience in the retail and/or restaurant industries,
- understand and have background in business management and basic accounting,
- have excellent computer skills and
- are fluent in English (written and spoken).
Capital requirements for our corporate locations* range from $30,000 to $350,000, depending on the facility.
- Convenience Store/Gas Bar - $30,000 to $60,000
- Convenience Store/Gas Bar/Service Bays/Car Wash - $60,000 to $100,000
- Travel Centre or Service Centre/Husky House restaurant - $150,000 to $350,000
* capital investment will differ in the Independent Retailer model. Contact us to discuss further.
Capital investment covers the security on fuel and store inventory. Additional funds are needed for working capital. Financing can be in the form of free cash plus a line of credit; however, Husky generally discourages applicants from operating excessively on borrowed capital.
